-
Send final transcripts by July 15 (plenty of time for students who are in school through June)
-
Note: it can take five days to process and match a transcript to a student's record

A note from our assistant vice provost |
Our class is shaping up after May 1: 8,530 students are expected to join us this August. This remarkable class was chosen from more than 75,000 first-year applications. Thank you for your support!
We're excited to be busy this summer:
-
Welcoming Buckeyes for orientation
-
Having students submit housing contracts
-
Requesting final transcripts for high school and CCP as well as AP exam scores
As you work with your sophomores and juniors, please let us know if there's anything we can add to our ACT and SAT testing FAQ.
Working with school counselors has been one of the best parts of my job. I will retire in July after 44 years of work in college admissions and I want to extend my thanks to all of you for all that you do.
Our team is your resource; please don't hesitate to email your admissions counselor or email us at askadmissions@osu.edu. Please reach out if we can assist you in any way!

University ExplorationNot sure what to major in? University Exploration is the perfect place to start. Exploration advisors help students use their time strategically, giving them the space and structure to make an informed decision about choosing a major.
Additional details:
-
Common App: Students can select “Undecided/Exploring/University Exploration” when applying
-
Being undecided is OKAY: Ohio State admits students major-blind, so applying as undecided does not reduce admission chances
-
Timely Graduation: EXP students often graduate on time and can pursue nearly all Ohio State majors. (Students interested in Aerospace Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Computer & Information Science, Mechanical Engineering, Nursing, or Design should apply directly to those majors.)
