-
Early action (due by November 1): December 9 and January 20
-

Reminder: We'll release both admit and deny decisions on December 9, but we will not be releasing defer decisions on that date.
Please let your students know that applications flow through our review process individually, so if they don't hear back at the same time as a friend, they might still be admitted later.
Honors and Scholars applicants: We'll begin sending our decisions on December 16.
Morrill Scholarship Program applicants: We'll begin sending our decisions on December 16 — then decisions will be sent on a rolling basis every two weeks through the end of March. |
Financial aid updatesIt's time for your students to submit the FAFSA for the 2023-24 school year!
Ohio State's priority deadline to complete the FAFSA is February 1, 2023. Our school code is 003090.
You should also encourage your students to use our scholarship-matching tool, ScholarshipUniverse, which simplifies the process of finding and applying for scholarships both from Ohio State and external sources.
For example: The Ohio State University Alumni Scholars Program is intended to recruit, recognize and financially support incoming first-year students. Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis; students can visit their site for the latest selection criteria.
For students admitted to Ohio State for autumn 2023, we'll send an email to their BuckeyeMail account indicating that their financial aid package is ready. We'll start sending these notifications in late February. |
Buckeye Precollege Summer InstituteLaunching in summer 2023, the Buckeye Precollege Summer Institute is a two-week residential enrichment program for academically ambitious students currently in grades 10 and 11.
In this program, students enroll in a single intensive course designed specifically for precollege students and taught by Ohio State faculty and staff. Students will get a deep dive into a particular subject not typically taught at the high school level, allowing them to explore college majors and potential careers.
Sign up to be notified when the application is live. Students should apply by the February 1 priority deadline (regular deadline: March 1). |
